Certified 100% Egyptian Cotton
Extra-long fibers are the secret to Egyptian cotton’s extreme softness and more luxurious look. Our cotton is certified with the Gold Seal by the Cotton Egypt Association (CEA) and comes from the rich, expansive deltas along the Nile River — a unique climate with ideal growing conditions and natural irrigation. We love that Egyptian cotton in particular has all of the breathability and durability of standard cotton, with the added benefit of keeping you cooler and drier by wicking away moisture.

Weave
Silky Sateen
Woven with a one yarn under, with three to four yarns overtop pattern, sateen is known for its silky softness, lustrous sheen, and smooth handfeel. Heavier than percale, its dense weave provides moderate temperature regulation, which allows for breathability during warmer months and additional insulation in the winter.
Crisp Percale
Woven with a one-over-one-under yarn pattern, percale is sought after for its classic, crisp finish and cooler-to-the-touch smoothness. The enhanced breathability and durability make it an ideal fabric for extra hot sleepers and those in warm climates.
Understanding Thread Count
Higher Thread Count
Lower Thread Count
When done honestly and paired with high-quality cotton, thread count makes an impact. A higher count indicates that more cotton has been incorporated into the weave, adding additional weight to the handfeel and a heavier natural drape. The higher you go, the more you’ll see additional benefits such as smoothness and durability — it can even extend the overall lifespan of the material if cared for according to care label instructions. Hot sleepers generally prefer the crisp, lightweight feel that comes from fabric with a lower count, which is why we offer a variety of independently verified thread counts for every sleep style and fabric preference.

Our Sheeting Process
Affordable doesn’t mean cheap. By owning our production facilities and offering online-only retail, we cut ties with the traditional supply chain and removed all of the middlemen that come with it (sourcing agents, distributors, wholesalers, brick-and-mortar sales reps). We utilize a cost-effective third-party warehouse based in the U.S. for shipping support, and keep our marketing costs intentionally low, so that we can pass on the savings directly to our customers.
Our product team creates all the designs at our headquarters in California. Customer feedback is regularly analyzed and crucial to the design process. All products, including our sheets, are designed to last and withstand years of wear and washing.
All sheeting is packaged in boxes made from recycled paper, without plastic. The only time we use plastic is to vacuum seal our bulkier inserts, to reduce weight and our overall carbon footprint while shipping.
All cotton (excluding Egyptian) is sourced from small, family-owned farms in South India. We purchase raw fibers of the highest quality and rigorously test them throughout each phase of product development.
Our organic cotton products are GOTS certified. Our base cotton is OEKO-TEX® Standard 100 Certified. Our thread counts and country of origin can easily be authenticated.
Each step of production happens in our family-owned and operated facility, located in Thane, Maharashtra, India. Owning this step in the process allows us to reduce costs and cut out third-party middlemen from our supply chain strategy. This location alone supports over 500 families and follows strict workplace guidelines and safety protocols that reduce fatigue and injury.
